The Century Chamber Orchestra rehearses and performs a wide variety of
orchestral music in a series of concerts during the academic year.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings, 7:30-9:20 p.m., in the Band room at Century College.
(Enter through the Theatre door on the West Campus.) Additional rehearsal time will be scheduled
for the week of each performance.
Membership
The ensemble is open to musicians with previous performing experience; however, an interview and
audition with the conductor is required. (Note: Registration for orchestra may be done as an activity for
academic credit or through Continuing Education.)

Concerts
2010–11 schedule
Concerts will be held in the Century College theater on the following Saturdays at 3:00 p.m.:
- November 6th
- March 5th
- May 7th – a combined orchestra and choir event with the Normandale Community College
and Century College Choirs.
General admission is $5.00, $3.00 for senior citizens, and children 12 and under are admitted free.
(Century Faculty & Staff admitted free.)
