Requirements
View and print your own degree audit or
DARS
.
Verify your degree/major is listed correctly.
Verify the catalog year you are following.
Meet with a Century counselor and review your DARS report and discuss possible issues that may prevent you from graduating.
Verify that transcripts from other colleges/universities you may have attended are on file at Century and have been evaluated.
Ensure all academic petitions are in the same catalog year and major as the one for which you have applied.
Make sure previous grades of Incomplete are now graded correctly.
Confirm that your account is paid up. For questions, contact the
Business Office
at 651-779-3278.
If needed, complete a Repeat of Course form and submit to the
Records office
.
Confirm completion of any internships.
Apply to graduate by the
deadline listed
for each semester. Graduation applications should be submitted during your last semester at Century. Applications received
after the deadline
will not be processed for that term and will be moved to the next term.
Complete the online
Graduation Orientation
or attend a live session in the West campus Theater.
Print the Graduation Application at the end of the Graduation Orientation, along with the Pre-Graduation Follow-up Survey, fill them out, and bring them to the Records office before the deadline.
Reminders
Catalog requirements older than 6 years cannot be used for a degree program.
Technical credits older than 5 years cannot be used as career credit for a diploma or certificate, only as elective credits.
Diplomas and other correspondence are mailed to the address given on the graduation application form, and the name listed in the computer system, UNLESS a
student change of information form
is submitted with instructions to change the “mail diploma to” address or student’s “name”.
Valid identification
(i.e. driver's license, state identification card, Social Security card, or certified copies of marriage, divorce or court document)
is required with the form.
Contact the Graduation Evaluator (651-779-3294) if you have questions about Graduation Orientation.
You will be notified by mail only if you have not met program requirements. If so, you must reapply for graduation after you have resolved the issue(s).
Graduation ceremony
The graduation ceremony is at Aldrich Arena in Maplewood on May 14, 2010 at 7:00 P.M.
Graduate check-in is at 6:00 P.M. at the West entrance of Aldrich Arena.
Purchase your cap, gown, tassel and diploma cover at the
Century College Bookstore
or online (651-779-3284) for approximately $30 beginning April 26, 2010.
Each graduate is allotted six tickets for guests.
Tickets are handed out when you purchase your diploma cover. You may exchange tickets with friends or contact the
Connection
on West campus (W1520).
You may walk in the spring graduation ceremony even if you applied to graduate the previous fall or summer semester. Degree documents will not be distributed at the ceremony; they are mailed to the address on your graduation application.
Your degree
Your degree document will be mailed to you within 14-16 weeks after grades are posted.
Within 6-8 weeks, grades are posted and you can view your degree notation on your transcript online at Century College

Document replacement
You may replace your degree document by calling 651-779-3228. (Requires a $25 fee.)
